Sources and Evidence
This page contains links to sources that I have used in previous publications and am using in current research projects in the hope that they may be useful for teaching and/or research purposes. Please feel free to contact me if you need or want any further information about them.
We will be adding more pages soon, so please do check back from time to time.
The William and Mary Quarterly
This page contains a list of all essays published in the early American history journal, the William and Mary Quarterly.
The creation of the list was part of the research I did with David Waldstreicher for the article that would eventually become “Revolution in the Quarterly?: A Historiographical Analysis,” published in the WMQ 74, no. 4 (Oct. 2017), 633-666.
The article was part of a special joint issue of the WMQ and the Journal of the Early Republic called "Writing to and from the Revolution." The entire issue of the WMQ, along with our article - which includes a note on our method in an Appendix - is now freely available on the OI Reader app.
The Revolution in Black American Life
These pages contain biographical information and related sources arising from my current research project with Clare Corbould entitled To Choose Our Better History.
